Essential Job Duties

Align strategies in areas of responsibility to support a strong organizational culture, employer brand and value proposition which supports our position as the employer of choice.
Develop programs and initiatives that recognize and reinforce behaviors that exemplify organizational values of commitment to quality, service and collaboration.
Continually advance and implement people strategies to support organization growth while maintaining and enhancing a positive organizational culture.
Incorporate strong change management principles and practices and communication into each strategic initiative.
Oversee strong employee relations practices to support a safe, healthy and positive workplace.
Develop formal and informal engagement assessment tools and use data to develop programs and action plans that enhance employee engagement, inclusion, satisfaction and connection (both with the organization and with other employees).
Process multi- state payroll.
Develop formal plan for annual or quarterly performance reviews.
Develop policies and programs to support a diverse and inclusive culture that aligns with the company’s broader interests and objectives.·
Ensure compliance with federal and local governments employment and labor laws.
Develop the total rewards strategy to support the company’s objective of being the Employer of Choice; customize plans for each operational segment to include base compensation, incentives, benefits, and other rewards.
Regularly evaluate the market to maintain competitive compensation and benefits programs and practices; and evaluate internal data to assess equity and value.
Create and evaluate the effectiveness of pay-for-performance strategies to include bonuses, incentives and variable pay plans that support key business performance objectives.
Maintain compliance with ordinances and regulations; serves as a plan administrator and/or plan fiduciary as designated.
Evaluate current healthcare benefits plan (medical, dental, vision, etc.) to determine if another plan would be beneficial and be able to lead the charge and implement.
Collaborate with executive team, consultants and vendors to develop programs and policies that support the company’s position as an Employer of Choice.
Provide executive leadership in administrative areas of HR service delivery including payroll, workforce management (centralized scheduling, timekeeping), reporting and analysis, leave management, workers’ compensation and safety, ensuring timely, accurate and supportive service to the employee population.·
Lead selection and optimization of HRMS (Human Resource Management System) / HRIS (Human resource information system) and support systems to provide an innovative employee experience; provides alternatives and support for employees with varying digital fluency.
Provide key data, reporting and analysis to operational leaders to enable decision-making that positively impacts broader organizational objectives and workforce strategies.
Provide strong support and collaboration with leaders in adapting organizational design to meet evolving needsand objectives.
Responsible for posting open positions internally on company website, job boards, interviewing, qualifying candidates, coordinating, and scheduling interviews with hiring managers, negotiating and extending offers, conducting reference and background checks, onboarding new employees, dispositioning applicants.
Provide support and collaboration with leaders to meet hiring needs and team build outs.
Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or a related field.
5-7 years of HR experience with a focus on talent acquisition, recruiting, total rewards, HR systems and analysis, payroll, compensation, performance review programs, management training and compliance programs and employee / labor relations.
Previous experiences in leading workforce and people strategies in an operationally diverse organization.
Knowledgeable of wage and hour laws across the US given the nuances state to state, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, DOL, OSHA, HIPAA, EEOC, COBRA and other labor and employment laws.
Enthusiastic and energetic thought leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a creative, engaging, and people-focused attitude.
Creative problem solver who can navigate current challenges while strategically planning for periods of growth and work in a very fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
Superb interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with senior business leaders, managers, and peers.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills with strong negotiation and influencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
Experience in the retirement plan industry.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
The employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The work environment is usually an indoor setting with infrequent exposure to outside elements. This position requires less than 5% of travel.
The person in this position occasionally needs to move about inside a home office environment to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a printer.
