Job Description: This position is responsible for coordinating various aspects of the department’s publications, technology support, Web page creation and maintenance, digital and print design, marketing, communications with editors, and publicity, as well as shared administrative support for the department. Publications may also include several academic hard-copy books beyond the departmental journals. Technology and website responsibilities include serving as the departmental liaison in support of a secure and reliable computing environment that is aligned with Office of Information Technology (OIT) established standards and industry best practices. Web duties include creating new pages and maintaining the integrity and security of all web content and data used in populating the department web page. Additional duties include support of the daily activities of the department to ensure teaching and administrative needs are met and the ability and willingness to assist other departments with publications, publicity, and staffing needs when needed.
