We are looking to add an HR Business Partner to support two business units located in Placentia, CA and Anaheim, CA. This positon will be based in our Placentia, CA unit but will require frequent travel to our Anaheim, CA location. The HR Business Partner will work closely with the HR team, management, and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

  • Champions culture and DE&I initiatives.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations/disciplinary issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with hiring managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Partners with local schools to participate in job fairs and recruiting events.
  • Facilitates the onboarding and offboarding process for new and departing employees.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to supervisors (e.g.,coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Delivers training and OJTs to employees on HR related topics.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation to employees and managers.
  • Assists with record audits and mandatory reports, which may include I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, payroll audits, and other compliance reviews.
  • Ensures compliance with EEO and OFCCP guidelines.
  • Manages and facilitates the drug/alcohol testing program.
  • Plans and supports information meetings such as open enrollment and meetings to announce or discuss changes in company policies and/or programs.


The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources Generalist/Business Partner experience, particularly in the areas of recruiting and onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and HR policy administration.
  • Experience with effectively coaching employees and leadership through complex issues.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Deep knowledge of federal/state/local employment laws and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • SAP SuccessFactors experience is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.


The pay range for this role is $80-110k/year.
