New Accounts Associate Balentine is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as the New Accounts Associate. This person will be an integral member of the New Accounts team and will work closely with our Transition Manager and Transition Associate to deliver high-quality results when onboarding new clients. The successful candidate is one who can prioritize attention to detail and complete this task-oriented role in an efficient and timely manner. The successful candidate must be technologically savvy, proactive, efficient, and able to display a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times. Responsibilities The ideal candidate will understand that a great attitude and efficiency in technology and task management will be key drivers for success. We expect this person to, with training, perform the following responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate an understanding of internal and external requirements of client onboarding and account opening by:
    • Generating error-free new account, account maintenance, and transfer documentation for brokerage accounts
    • Processing all Investment Advisory Agreements and maintaining these records within a hosted database
    • Following established operating procedures and policies
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Balentine technologies by:
    • Managing, prioritizing, and completing business process tasks assigned within Salesforce
    • Following established naming and filing conventions in Box
    • Using Netx360 to populate paperwork and confirm all new account data points (addresses, money market funds, etc.) are correct in the system
    • Leveraging DocuSign to obtain required client information and signatures in a fast and efficient manner
  • Follow established tracking and monitoring activities for transfers, cost basis maintenance, and all forms submitted to open and maintain accounts
  • Participate in business continuity and cross-training efforts by serving as a backup to members of the New Accounts Team
  • Bachelor’s degree orsimilar years of experience required
  • 1-3 years of financial services experience required
  • Proficiency with Box, Salesforce, and NetX360, or similar systems a plus
