As a store development manager, you will lead the formulation & execution of a strategic plan for new store development. You will also be responsible for existing store portfolio decisions ensuring adherence to an integrated real estate strategy.

The ideal candidate will be based in South Georgia, Jacksonville, FL, or Gainesville, FL areas.

As a store development manager, you will…

  • Develop & maintain the new & existing store strategy for an assigned multiple MSA territory.
  • Work closely with brokers, developers, Market Planning Manager, internal design team, internal construction teams, Operations, legal, and outside consultants to identify, secure, design, and build new store locations.
  • Negotiate LOIs and work with outside counsel negotiating leases that adhere to Starbucks leasing standards.
  • Complete proformas to ensure real estate deals meet or exceed internal financial hurdles.
  • Tour trade areas & new store sites with brokers & leadership.
  • Lead internal Portfolio Review & Market Planning meetings
  • Complete Site Submittal Packages for internal approval of new store locations.
  • Cultivate and maintain a collaborative relationship with Operations partners.

  • 5+ Retail or restaurant new store rollout experience
  • 7+ Real Estate Site Development Experience
  • 7+ Real Estate deal-making and negotiations
  • 5+ Financial Planning & Market Analysis
  • 5+ Advanced understanding of business strategy and strategic planning skills
