VENZA is currently seeking a Technical Communicator to add to its team.

Accountability Summary

This is a full-time opportunity for a professional who wants to join our Product Team and produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of a growing company. Reporting to the Product Director, the Technical Communicator will work in close coordination with Customer Success, Sales & Marketing, Security, and Risk/Compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in Product Development
Your team manages current and potential products (i.e., solutions, programs, services). You have a lot of influence on VENZA’s tomorrow. Therefore:

  • Generate/improve communications regarding current offerings.
  • Draft content including training courses, resource materials (e.g. posters, briefs, email templates, etc.), demonstration guides, white papers, and client support materials.
  • Draft instructional design documents (e.g., storyboards) to guide courseware developers.
  • Draft system requirements documentation to guide development programmers.
  • Craft communications pertaining to new offerings.

Articulate VENZA’s Product Future
Your team crafts program plans to delight current customers and pique the interests of prospective customers. Therefore:

  • Communicate the value of new products.
  • Communicate product developmental progress with internal stakeholders.
  • Draft communications pertaining to “release event” promotions.

Assist Efforts for Selling, Upselling, and Cross-Selling
Your team assists Customer Success and Sales & Marketing to show current customers how additional VENZA products and services may help. Therefore:

  • Communicate all products and services, including updates, in the best light.
  • Constantly evaluate the results of communication methods and styles.
  • Draft marketing copy (e.g., press releases, social media posts, tradeshow content).
  • Review, proof, and improve company-wide copy.

Contribute to Collaborative Internal Relationships
Your team, ultimately, answers the question: “What does VENZA do?” Therefore:

  • Draft internal communications so VENZA teammates uniformly understand product offerings.
  • Work to foster success for internal clients.
  • Please be prepared to share 2 writing samples.

(1) Technical sample (e.g., manual, white paper, reference guide).

(2) Content sample (e.g., blog, marketing copy)

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Versatile, wide-ranging writing skills, spanning technical, marketing, and content writing styles.
  • Strong research skills with ability to independently generate content on complex topics.
  • Close attention to detail and ability to consistently deliver high-quality documents.
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
  • Experience in a fast-paced working environment and the ability to multi-task and troubleshoot under pressure.
  • Excellent presentation skills, data interpretation, and diagram builds.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (advanced to expert), Adobe Acrobat, and InDesign.
  • Familiarity with web development and desktop publishing programs.
  • Multi-language fluency preferred.
  • Experience with the hospitality industry, data protection, or cybersecurity is a plus.


  • Starting Range $50,000 - $60,000
