Job Description

This is a fully virtual work from home position for candidates who reside in the state of Texas only. Candidates who reside outside of this state will not be considered. Successful candidates must be able to report physically to one of our resort locations in Austin or San Antonio for new hire paperwork on day one and must be able to meet our work at home requirements (see below).

  • How You'll Shine:

    Put your passion for customer service and travel into action as an inbound Travel Representative with Wyndham Destinations! After your training period (paid), you will take inbound calls from existing owners who are excited and ready to plan their dream vacations and their experience starts with you as you make their reservations!

    As a subject matter expert on customer service and travel accommodations, you will be responsible for booking car rentals, airfare, hotel reservations, cruises, things to see and experience in the area, and make recommendations based on our owner’s interests that you will learn through your conversation.

    • $16.50 per hour plus monthly incentives


    • Start Date April 5th , 2024

    What You'll Bring:

    • High School Diploma or GED required

    • Six months customer service and sales experience

    • Six months TRAVEL experience preferred

    • Ability to build rapport with a customer quickly, ask probing questions, and offer additional services to meet their travel needs

    • Able to show intermediate level proficiency with travel software programs and systems such as Apollo, Sabre or Worldspan.

    • Must be a strong multitasker and be able to work well under pressure

    • Training schedule (5 weeks) 10:00am - 7:00pm Central

    • After training schedule: Availability to work between 10:00am - 9:00pm Central Mon-Fri. A set schedule will be provided

    • Ability to work some holidays

    What is required for me to work from home?

    • Quiet workplace free of distractions

    • High speed internet (DSL or Cable only) with download speed of 20mbps, upload speed 3mbps, Latency less than 100ms

    • Must be able to hardwire computer directly to a router

    • Must have own personal device with a working camera to be used for the first week of training (until our computers reach your home)

    • Intermediate computer proficiency and ability to troubleshoot technical issues while at home
