About the Role & Team
The Disney Advertising Social Ad Partnerships team is responsible for evaluating and optimizing partnerships inclusive of negotiating deal terms, assessing performance, communicating needs and resolving issues, identifying opportunities to drive growth and influencing partners to support DAS priorities that fuel strategic initiatives across The Walt Disney Company. This includes:

  • Communicating value proposition and capabilities for social offerings through strategic storytelling and marketplace assessment

  • Collaborating with Solutions, Addressable Sales, and Revenue & Yield Management teams to create and implement press-worthy and revenue generating opportunities

  • Simplifying social capabilities and offerings for sales to increase advertiser adoption

What You Will Do

The Coordinator, Ad Partnerships will assist the team both tactically and administratively. They will be expected to use their organizational, interpersonal, technical and analytical skills to help the team gather and evaluate information, create materials and resources, and move projects forward within the team and with other stakeholders. This individual’s work will assist in partnership development and deal negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Support team with intelligence monitoring, documenting and managing inorder to inform partnerships and policy discussions and decisions
  • Assist major social content distribution partnerships:
    • Share agenda and meeting notes
    • Conduct analyses on partner relationships to inform negotiations
    • Research, document and inform management on marketplace and business intelligence
    • Prepare organization for potential ad sales implications of partnership developments
    • Develop collateral for updates to partner capabilities and new ad products
  • Establish relationships and collaborate across TWDC (Platform Distribution, Legal, Forecasting, Revenue & Yield Management, Operations, and Finance) to ensure DAS priorities are carried out across all endpoints.
  • Act as a resource for colleagues on areas of expertise, including providing marketplace, and partnership insights
  • Support team initiatives and Ad hoc projects as needed

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Entry-level position; 1+ years in media with experience in partnership/account management, social or digital ad ops preferred
  • Practical understanding of the ad sales and media distribution landscape
  • Knowledge of and enthusiasm for emerging media and technology
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work across a variety of cross-functional group of stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex information
  • Experience solving complex problems based on analysis of multiple sources of information
  • The ability to work independently on a variety of tasks
  • A flexible team member who is willing to jump in as needed
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point or Keynote
  • Experience supporting negotiations or reading contracts is a plus
