To have a safe and productive job search online, there are several things you need to keep in mind before applying for jobs. Protect your personal information when dealing with potential employers. If a job posting seems too good to be true, it's likely a scam or fraud, so steer clear and look for legitimate opportunities instead. A company that conducts job interviews solely through text or email is likely not legitimate. Avoid job postings that require you to transfer funds through your personal bank account. To avoid working for a company with a history of workplace harassment or discrimination, research its diversity and inclusion policies before applying for any job. Be cautious of any job postings that mention upfront fees or payments. It is advisable to contact the company to make sure that the job opening is not a scam and that they are hiring for the position. Watch out for job postings that use vague job titles or descriptions, as these may be signs of a fraudulent job posting.
