It's crucial to be vigilant and cautious when applying for jobs online to avoid job scams and fraudulent job postings. Be wary of any job posting that requires payment for anything. Don't be swayed by promises of high pay or easy work when evaluating job postings, as these can often be signs of scams or frauds. A legitimate employer will usually arrange for an in-person or phone interview rather than just via email or text correspondence. Be cautious of job postings that offer commission-based pay without any base salary or hourly wage. Confirm that the job posting is genuine and the company is hiring by contacting them and asking for details.
