Keep your personal information safe by being selective about what you share with potential employers and verifying their legitimacy. To verify that the job posting is real and the position is open, it's always a good idea to get in touch with the company directly. Beware of job postings that ask you to provide your personal bank account information without a legitimate reason. To avoid working for a company with a history of unethical or illegal practices, research its legal and ethical standards before applying for any job.
