About the role: This infrastructure role is part of the Clinical Applications & Delivery team and will participate in the planning, organizing, and configuring of Clinical Application workflow and content at Premise Health Centers. Essential Functions:
  • Application and/or workflow discovery
  • Participate in new client/location or service expansion implementations by
  • Collecting appropriate information to facilitate building of EMR databases.
  • Building, configuring and testing application environments.
  • Assist with go live support as needed.
  • Attend meetings as needed/requested to help facilitate resolutions to outstanding issues or configuration requests.
  • Provide day to day technical and configuration support of assigned applications for Helpdesk, onsite and corporate users.
  • Effectively guide site and corporate employees on application workflow processes and procedures to ensure proper utilization of the EMR software.
  • Create/maintain application configuration processes and procedures and other supporting content using products such as Microsoft Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Excel as well as screen capture tools like Snagit.
  • Perform thorough analysis of application specific updates/upgrades by testing updates and configuration in a QA environment, making recommendations for configuration changes and submitting change control requests once ready for production. Develop/update configuration/build documentation to support changes.
  • Assistwith intra- and inter-departmental projects, providing application knowledge and/or establishing, documenting and delivering new configuration content when necessary.
  • Assist development/business analysts with analyzing project requests to determine feasibility and gather requirements.

  • Previous clinical application experience preferred
Preferred Experience:

  • Basic presentation skills
  • Ability to interact and develop relationships with intra-departmental teams

  • Requires basic understanding of healthcare terminology, clinical application configuration and/or workflows and related technologies
  • Requires basic skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to complete work assignments in a timely manner as assigned by supervisor

  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a rapidly changing environment
