Summary: Oversee and perform key quality assurance activities to include file reviews, call monitoring, and performance analytics. Support overall claims quality and LOB performance through the completion of claims training, project management, and other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Reports to IQR Manager and performs quality assurance reviews and detailed analysis to assess claim quality, including accurate coverage determination, investigation, damage assessment, reserving and payment/settlement of files.
  • Provides regular reporting and feedback to management/respective lines of business on file quality and analysis, special audits, project findings and training needs.
  • Analyzes audit findings for trends & opportunities and report findings to Claims leadership.
  • Keeps current on industry trends and statutory requirements for claim handling compliance.
  • Investigates and reports conflicts and/or variances of claim handling guidelines that are not compliant with state regulations and/or executed third party contracts.
  • Oversees the management of data reporting and analysis within the designated LOB. Performs claims audits to identify claims handling trends. Assist LOB management on strategies to implement and maintain programs, process and procedures that achieve desired objectives.
  • Researches and ensures compliance of all activities that impact claim accuracy.
  • Evaluates internal processes and/or controls to identify claim handling improvement opportunities and/or procedural alternatives.
  • Works on special projects with line of business leaders to promote continuous improvement across the department.
  • Assist with identifying and implementing strategies to promote best in class performance.
  • Identify training needs, coordinate training programs, and assist in training claim personnel in collaboration with Corporate Training.
  • Assists in the identification and development of claim handling best practices and ensure expectations are effectively translated in New Associate Orientation and line of business training programs and materials.

What You’ll Bring To The Company:

Bachelor's degree orequivalent education and experience plus five years related claims experience preferred. Prior manager or claim representative experience preferred. Professional insurance designation preferred.
