Protect your personal information from potential fraudsters by being selective about what you share with employers. Don't provide any financial information to job posters until you've verified their identity and legitimacy. If you are unsure about the legitimacy of a job posting or interview request, it's best to err on the side of caution and do your research. Confirm that the job posting is genuine and the company is hiring by contacting them and asking for details.
