The Senior Data Engineer will help build and maintain the Data platform delivering a variety of Analytics use cases. As our first Senior Data Engineer, you will help build data infrastructure for the company and deliver significant long-lasting impact. What You Will Do
  • Build and support data infrastructure that will enable the automation of processes across a variety of ingestion, transformation, and consumption methods.
  • Design, Build, Publish, and maintain performant, reliable data models and pipelines to enable
  • Self-service consumption throughout the enterprise
  • Flexible querying and data visualizations
  • Operate at the intersection of upstream data producers and consumers to collaborate for successful analytical outcomes.
  • Create processes for monitoring and alerting for the health of data pipelines
  • Drive repeatability and automation of environment bring-up using solid IAC and containerization practices for data pipelines
  • Build terraform templates supporting DBT transformations as well as snowflake administration
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree with a major in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or other related majors, plus at least 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering, with at least 3 years of that in a predominantly Azure environment.
  • Prior experience working with modern data stack.
  • Advanced SQL, Python. Experience with Snowflake/Databricks or similar cloud databases
  • Demonstrated experience developing data pipelines and related automations
  • Hands-on experience using DBT or similar transform tools building modelsand Airflow or similar orchestration tools for data workflows.
  • Expertise in DevOps tools and techniques to enable CI/CD of data pipelines. Hands-on Terraform experience preferred.
  • Have a Growth mindset, the ability to learn new skills and tools as the platform matures
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to solve ambiguous problems independently.
  • Bonus: Working knowledge of engineering best practices for privacy and security compliance with PII/PHI: HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, or similar regulatory frameworks.
