Role overview

As a Financial Analyst, this person will support the Corporate FP&A function for both Marketplace and CarOffer teams. They will build and maintain management reports using Adaptive and other planning tools, work with ET to develop detailed forecasts and budgets, and analyze financial results against plan and forecast.

What you'll do

  • Partner closely with business leaders across the organization to help them understand financial results through thoughtful and comprehensive financial analyses; help leaders manage P&L to budget and forecast.
  • Support the short and long-term financial forecasting process; ensure that assigned forecast/plans are entered into the Adaptive planning tool in a timely and accurate manner for on-time delivery of Corporate deliverables.
  • Maintain the Adaptive planning tool; including, recurring monthly data loads, reporting updates, and ad hoc requests from the broader team.
  • Collaborate with Accounting to support the month-end close process; including, review and analysis of the general ledger, monthly accruals, and provide variance explanations.
  • Assist the Digital Wholesale Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Director with development of forecasting/planningprocesses, tools, reports, and analyses, as needed.
  • Assist the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager with analyses preparation, commentary, and presentation materials, as needed.
  • Respond to ad hoc financial analyses, special projects, and other similar or related duties as required or requested.

What you'll bring

  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.
  • Strong work ethic and standout colleague.
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning and NetSuite (or equivalents), a plus.
