ABOUT HOUSTON ZOO

To avoid fraudulent job postings, you need to keep in mind some important tips when applying for jobs online. Always listen to your gut feeling when it comes to job postings that seem too good to be true. Keep an eye out for job postings that use generic or vague company names, as these may be signs of a fraudulent job posting. To avoid working for a company with a high turnover rate, research its employee retention and satisfaction rates before applying for any job. Legitimate employers will typically use more formal methods for scheduling and conducting job interviews. Remember that protecting your personal information is crucial to avoid identity theft and other forms of fraud. Be cautious of job postings that request you to use your personal bank account for any type of transactions. Job postings that require you to pay for a 'starter kit' or other materials are often scams. Contacting the company directly is the best way to confirm that the job is authentic and that they are hiring for the position.
