1099 Project Coordinator

Position Summary

PDG is working with a client who requires a Learning Project Coordinator to support various learning and development initiatives for their organization. The contract will begin no later than April 2024 and continue through the end of 2024. This remote contract is for up to 40 hours per week and tasks must be completed during Pacific Time Zone business hours with at least some of the work performed on Mondays weekly. This is a 1099 or corp. to corp. contract opportunity. Contract extensions are possible.

Role Responsibilities

The Contract Learning Project Coordinator will support the following areas:

Curriculum Management:

  • Build and maintain curriculums in the LMS
  • Test courses and curriculum to ensure that each course functions properly before going live
  • Create and maintain assessments (PI Exams)
  • Create and maintain certifications of completion for each curriculum
  • Collaborating with Brand Learning Liaisons, updating learning plans based on curriculum updates and custom learning journeys
  • Support Training leads with workshop agenda builds
  • Send calendar invites to training and event participants
  • Maintain training log/rosters

Initial Training/Onboarding:

  • Continuously improve the eForm process which is used to notify stakeholders who need to add new hires to their systems including:
  • Ensuring that the eForm is maintained with appropriate notifications
  • Maintaining communication with stakeholders to stay ahead of changes in systemsneeds for their respective personnel
  • Learning resources and system orientation: Support across brands for priority functions. Helps new hires to get familiar with internal systems.
  • Support ongoing learning by using digital tools like Training Arcade/Brainshark to support sustainability and pull through
  • Providing online training on digital facilitation tools such as Microsoft Teams

Document Management/Administration:

  • Lead efforts related to document management in Microsoft SharePoint, ensuring that all users have appropriate permissions and access to documentation
  • Maintain the team's meeting calendar
  • Track agenda items for all team meetings and send action items after each meeting
  • Assist with building a project plan/tracker (GANTT chart) for all team projects including learning event planning
  • Organize the team's folder and provide structure to folder directory to ensure active folders and documents are easily accessible to users and all other folders are archived
  • Provide support on other tasks as identified by the team

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of three years of Project Management or Project Coordination experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience working in corporate learning and development
  • Proficiency in MS Office including SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required
  • Proficiency with or similar project management platform is highly preferred
  • Superior communication skills including written and verbal communication
  • Outstanding time management skills, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Experience working with an LMS is preferred
