Balloon Artisan creates balloon arches for corporate events, grand openings, birthday parties, graduations and baby showers across the country. We are looking for an experienced sales professional who can help us restructure our sales process, refine our sales scripts and help create a training process to onboard future sales team members. We currently receive 20-25 inbound leads per day (looking to increase that number significantly in the coming months) and we need someone to qualify those leads, advance them through the buying process, and facilitate in the close/ handoff to our in-house Event Planners.

You will be the first person to occupy this position in our company (sales have previously been handled by our Event Planners) so please be aware there will be very little formal structure in this position and you will need to work well without clear directions.

You will be working very closely with our CEO and will have the opportunity to learn about the inner workings of Balloon Artisan and entrepreneurship as a whole.

Job Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for contacting inbound leads via phone, text, email, social media, zoom, carrier pigeon and smoke signals. We currently receive 20-25 inbound leads per day but that number will grow significantly in the coming months (We do intend to hire more team members as growth continues).

We are currently trying to shorten our sales cycle so your goal will be to move the client through the buying process as quicklyas possible while providing an incredible client experience.

You will also be reaching out to past clients to see if they’d like us to get them on the schedule again as the anniversary of their events near. We also have a list of about 3000 past inquiries that we’d like you to reach out to as well when things are slower.

While we are quite good at selling our projects and are growing quickly, we have never had a formalized “Sales” role on the team and we will need help designing the systems to facilitate the transfer between “sales” and “event planning”. We also want to A/B test scripts to find the most effective way to advance clients through our pipeline.

Our team is fully remote so you will need to be able to perform well with a high degree of autonomy.

Qualifications:

- Proficient in Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Drive.

- A master in using a variety of CRM’s

- The ability to design sales scripts and systems then A/B Test those systems to improve effectiveness

- Highly organized and detail-oriented.

- Enthusiastic about life and being part of a larger vision.

- 5+ Years of prior sales experience

Job Schedule:
You will be working 40-45 hours per week and will be working 8 AM - 5 PM MST Monday -Friday. We do get 4-10 leads that come in per weekend and you’ll need to help us figure out the best way to handle those.

Job Details:
We anticipate the total compensation for this role being between $60,000 - $90,000 per year. You will be given a base pay of $20 / hour and then you will be eligible for additional compensation depending on your closing rate and the number of sales closed.
