We're looking for a strategic yet hands-on Vice President of Solution Consulting to lead and scale our Solution Consulting capabilities as we enter a period of explosive growth. This individual will be responsible for leading our Solution Consulting teams to the next level.

The VP of Solution Consulting has oversight over a growing team that delivers and executes on the pre and post-close sales lifecycle. The VP of Solution Consulting will be a highly effective executive partner across the company, working with key stakeholders in Sales, Engineering, and Product verticals to understand requirements, identify areas for improvement, and design solutions to drive internal decision making. Personnel Management

  • Lead a team of world-class Sales Engineers to support the entire customer development lifecycle and drive product adoption
  • Partner with HR to recruit and retain top-tier talent
  • Identify key skills and capabilities needed to assess team strengths and weaknesses
  • Organize the Solution Consulting department and teams to support's sales and product goals and initiatives
  • Develop Solution Consulting leaders to increase productivity
  • Communicate effectively up, down, and laterally to ensure alignment of work
  • Provide purpose, motivation, and direction to members of the Solution Consulting team

Solution Consulting Performance and Execution

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and executive leadership to devise short and long term strategies tied to customer implementation and ongoing technical needs
  • Assist the team in supporting's largest, most strategic accounts
  • Ownboth the long-term technical strategy and the day-to-day operations, including fostering innovation and implementing best practices
  • Design, implement and maintain Solution Consulting playbooks to streamline operations and measure performance
  • Solve business problems by turning raw data into actionable insights
  • Proactively mitigates risk by identifying and controlling internal and external risk factors


  • Manage the vision and strategy for the Solution Consulting function
  • Supervise work to continuously iterate and improve
  • Conduct effective After Action Reviews to instill effective team learning habits
  • Define and oversee consistent adoption of instrumentation and standards across the Solution Consulting team


  • Work with the Sales Executives and Chief Financial Officer to develop a bottoms up budget
  • Align compensation and incentive metrics and goals for current employees and new hires
  • Responsible for headcount, consulting, software, equipment, travel and entertainment, and professional development costs for the Solution Consulting team

The annual base salary listed below for this role is based on experience, skills, education, relevant training and geographic location. Pay Range
