Conducting research on the company is an important step in the job search process to ensure that it's a legitimate and trustworthy organization. Reach out to the employer to ensure that the job posting is real and that they are hiring. Be alert for job postings that request access to your personal bank account. Keep your personal information safe by verifying the legitimacy of the employer. Always be cautious of job interviews that take place solely over text or email, as they may be part of a scam. If a job posting requires payment before you even start working, it's likely a scam. Use caution when responding to job postings that seem too good to be true or promise quick and easy money.
