Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant position is essential for ensuring that all administrative duties are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Key duties and responsibilities include requesting and verifying insurance authorizations in a timely and accurate manner to ensure there are no gaps in insurance coverage; communicating with clients and vendors; accurately submitting claims to insurance companies; assisting with HR related tasks; completing a variety of daily administrative tasks such as checking voicemails each morning and throughout the day. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must be able to effectively perform each of the primary duties and responsibilities (in no particular order of importance):
Under the supervision of the Executive Clinical Director, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for:
  • Daily administrative tasks
  • Completing HR related tasks
  • Timely and accurate communications with clients and vendors
  • Requesting and verifying insurance authorizations in a timely manner
  • Obtaining intake information for potential new clients
  • Entering client data and insurance authorizations into program database
  • Maintaining respect and confidentiality for all clients and families
  • Completing all insurance-related and administrative paperwork accurately, thoroughly and on time
  • Assisting with projects as needed
  • Exercising sound discretion and independent judgment
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Performing other related duties as required or as directed by the Company and/or supervisor

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in insurance claims processing preferred. Central Reach knowledge preferred but not required.
