Be mindful of the information you share with potential employers and only provide what is necessary for the application process. Protect yourself and verify that you are on the correct website before continuing. Use common sense when applying for jobs online and avoid any job postings that seem too good to be true. Be cautious of job postings that ask you to use your personal bank account for any transactions related to the job. Before accepting any job offer, make sure to research the company to verify its authenticity and credibility. If a potential employer wants to conduct an interview solely over text or email, it's important to be skeptical and verify their authenticity. Communicate with the company to ensure that the job posting is authentic and that they are hiring for the position. Legitimate employers won't ask you to pay for training, equipment, or any other expenses. Keep an eye out for job postings that require you to provide personal information before disclosing the job description or qualifications, as these are often signs of a fraudulent job posting.
