A benchmarked salary between $75,000 to $80,000 (DOE) based on your level within our progression framework. You can read more about our approach to performance, salary, and progression here. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.

We're an ambitious team of over 100 people across the UK and not stopping there. We're growing fast, and looking to recruit the founding members of our US team.

As Social Media Manager you will be responsible for creating industry leading social-first strategy and delivering it to our clients. As well as working closely with our Executive Client Services Director to drive our growth through contribution to new business pitches and proposals.

This role would suit someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, a creative outlook and an experience delivering social strategy & influencer work for global clients.

️ What you'll be doing:

    • Research & insight : Formulating clear hypotheses for strategy, testing them using both primary and third party research methods, and uncovering new findings that improve the work. Developing original insights which are grounded in cultural truths, which are actionable and relevant for the client, and that inspire great work.
    • Strategy: the ability to understand the underlying business problem and define the absolute best solution. Creating effective and award winning strategies that clients value.
    • Influencer : Owning the strategic ideation of influencer campaigns, identifying key opportunities to partner with creators and working closely with Social Media Managers to execute effectively.
    • New business & growth: contributing to the winning new business through pitches and proposals, leading on the strategic direction. Developing Born Social’s industry profile in the US through talks and presentations, blogs, webinars, etc.
    • Communication: selling an idea to clients and senior stakeholders, the skill of breaking down complex subjects and saying it simply. Frequent and clear communication on delivery status, utilizing appropriate project management tools to ensure delivery is on time and on brief.

Who we're looking for:

  • Social & strategic understanding: You've got a deep understanding of social media and how it can be harnessed for a variety of businessesand have a good understanding of various strategy and insight framework
  • Pride in your work: we treat our client's brands as our own and are meticulous about our approach. You will take real pride in what you deliver and always strive for perfection
  • Real drive and ambition: you'll be constantly adapting to the ever-growing world of social, and have the mindset of growth as well as the ambition to get there
  • You'll have three or more years of experience working with social media (agency-side preferable)
