FULL TIME one of the internets largest cruise sellers.

An experienced Trainer who will update and conduct training on all current and future products. A strong working knowledge of cruise reservation system(s), sales, customer service, and product training programs. Trainer will work directly with World Travel company employees and independent contractors (affiliates). A person who will grow, manage and maintain the Training and Development Center. Coordinates with approved vendors to schedule and oversee vendor training, agent/affiliate incentive contests and/or promotions, company training/familiarization trips, trade shows or other ventures deemed to fall within the purview of training in conjunction with the in-house Event Planner and other designated individuals on an ongoing or project basis. This is a remote position. The hours of this position are 9:00AM until 6:00PM Monday through Friday or as otherwise determined on a project by project basis.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Creates required training initiatives based on business needs.
  • Coordinates training schedule with hiring and training demands.
  • Manages and maintains the E-Learning (LMS)
  • Formulates teaching outline and determines instructional methods
  • Responsible for the oversight of ongoing training revisions as well as new training methodologies orprojects.
  • Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.
  • Requires strong working knowledge of multiple software programs and a high degree of computer literacy.
  • Conducts training sessions covering specified areas (on-the-job training, refresher training, etc.)
  • Tests trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training.
  • Develops strong relationship with all company departments to develop course materials and receive feedback.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned to meet business needs
Education and/or Experience:
  • Previous training in the Cruise Industry a MUST
  • LMS experience a MUST
  • Articulate experience a PLUS
  • Remote training experience a PLUS
Other Skills and Abilities:
  • Comfortable communication with all levels of management and employees.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Proven presentation and facilitation skills.
