Client Regulatory Analyst

As a Barclays Client Regulatory Analyst, you will be responsible for the management of several key Regulatory controls, supporting Sales and Markets in ensuring Clients are regulatory compliant to trade and actioning regulatory change rollout. You will have the opportunity to provide support to both internal and external stakeholders for regulatory requirements providing query management, information, and static data capture.

What will you be doing?

  • Being knowledgeable of Regulatory requirement and ensuring client fit to trade
  • Leading and conducting regulatory outreach for existing and future regulations
  • Liaising with multiple internal stakeholders including but not limited to Legal, Compliance, Business representatives and multiple middle and back office teams.
  • Assisting with design and implementation of new processes to ensure Barclay’s clients are compliant for all necessary regulations.
  • Coordinating with vendor to achieve Regulatory certification
  • Operating Trade control reports to ensure no regulatory breaches arise

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Good attention to detail
  • “Can Do” Attitude that is self-motivated and highly driven
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Excellent organisational skills: the ability to manage multiple cases concurrently and ensure they remain on track
  • Ability to contribute toward continuous improvement projects
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (Outlook, Excel)
  • Knowledge of Industry Regulations such as Dodd Frank, EMIR, and US Suitability rules
