Hybrid Opportunity - Remote with Some Travel to Our Various Job Sites


The Health and Safety Supervisor is in charge of the safety, health environment, and quality assurance across company locations. They supervise or co-ordinate work systems to ensure products and services meet the highest quality standards, and that working conditions are safe and meet legal requirements.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines
  • Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety
  • Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law
  • Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention
  • Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations
  • Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions
  • Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker’s compensation claims
  • Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures
  • Report on health and safety awareness, issues and statistics

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven experience as aHSE Supervisor
  • Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines
  • Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies
  • Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
  • Excellent organisational and motivational skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and observation abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities



Two or more of the following health and safety certifications is required:

  • General OSHA or equivalent certification
  • Fire Prevention and Risk Management Certificate
  • First Aid Basic Certificate
  • Environmental Management Systems Qualification or equivalent
  • Construction Skills Register (CSR) Site Card
  • IOSH Safety, Health and Environment for Construction Workers
  • Graduate IOSH Status or CMIOSH status

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSc/BA in Safety Management or relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
  • Periodic travel will be required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Salary: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
