Total Dealer Solutions is seeking a dedicated and solution-oriented Software Trainer & Customer Support Representative.

**This position is training and support for custom software. Throughout onboarding, learning progression and core values adherence will be evaluated at 30/60/90 day intervals following the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).**

The person in this role is primarily responsible for training new and existing clients how to use our automotive parts inventory to GL reconciliation software, PartsRec.

  • Must have excellent communication skills, time management and organizational skills, work ethic, attention to detail, ability to adapt and learn quickly, technical skills, and a strong desire to help people.
  • Previous software or tech support experience required. Automotive parts experience and/or accounting experience is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Client Trainings - train clients how to use PartsRec software
  • Help Tickets - solve help tickets via multiple communication channels
  • Client Onboardings - complete new client installs

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in software/technical customer support
  • Experience working remotely
  • Experience in automotive parts inventory, parts to GL reconciliation, and/or accounting
  • Ability to utilize GoToMeeting to conduct client training sessions
  • Ability to utilize Zendesk ticket system to document and manage customer support requests
  • Technical skill set including a demonstrated understanding of software technologies and web functionality
  • Active listener who seeks to understand root cause of issues
  • Excellent communication, in verbal and written formats
  • Motivated quick study with a problem-solving attitude
  • Self-disciplined and organized
  • Persistent work ethic with a positive and respectful team player mentality
  • Desire to grow and pitch in where needed

Additional Details:

  • Full Time: Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm Mountain time zone (10am-7pm ET, 9am-6pm CT)
  • Opportunity for growth and advancement (Tier 1 salary range $40-$50K, Tier 2 salary range $55-$70K, we typically promote from within)
  • 15 days paid vacation
  • This is a remote position, must have access to a computer, reliable internet connection, available Hotspot and a private/quiet space or home office.
  • We use Slack, GoToMeeting, Zendesk, Jive, Azure DevOps, Trello, SQL management studio, Calendly, and Microsoft Office – experience with these technologies is a plus.

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
