Claiborne Senior Living is hiring a Training and Development Manager to be responsible for ensuring new hires experience a successful onboarding experience focused on providing a comprehensive and standardized training platforms that enable team members to provide excellent and consistent service while adhering to all Claiborne Senior Living standards of performance. This position will update, develop and/or create training plans for all positions in the community as well as continuously assess company-wide development needs to drive training initiatives and identify and arrange suitable training solutions for employees.

This position may be performed remotely other than traveling as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Create training procedure manuals, guides, course materials, job aids, and evaluations.
  • Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, instructors, and customer representatives.
  • Collaborates and consults with subject matter experts to develop unique training programs to fulfill workers’ specific needs to maintain or improve job skills.· Assists in Orientation/Training of new community openings or management contracts.
  • Stays current on state specific regulations of training requirements.
  • Compiles, organizes, and analyzessurvey data on new hires and exit interview surveys to assist with employee retention strategies.
  • Tracks monthly department training meetings ensuring compliance with training standards.
  • Coordinates corporate training initiatives when applicable.
  • Assists with the development and execution of safety training programs.
  • Conducts follow-up audits of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
  • Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to observe, train and/ or support communities.

Skills/Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Training and Development, or a related field or equivalent experience required.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences.

-Ability to design and implement effective training and development.

-Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience in adult education principles and practices.
- Knowledge of Relias or other Learning Management Systems (LMS) for training delivery and tracking.
- Strong background in employee relations, mentoring, and coaching.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
