Be cautious about providing personal information to potential employers, especially if it seems excessive or unnecessary. Beware of job listings that require you to purchase a 'starter kit' or other materials before you can start working. Always take the time to research the company before applying for any job to ensure its authenticity and to avoid falling victim to job scams. Your intuition can often tell you whether or not a job posting is legitimate, so trust your instincts. A real employer is more likely to arrange an interview by phone or in-person rather than over email or text. Verify the legitimacy of the job posting and the hiring process by reaching out to the company. Watch out for job postings that ask you to use your personal bank account for company transactions.
