Business Process Specialist


This position reports to the Director of Operations and will be responsible for assisting the 340B Advanced Services team with coordination of multiple projects across all Advanced Services workstreams. This role requires close collaboration with the Omnicell 340B Covered Entity clients, 340B and Specialty Pharmacy Services Implementation teams, 340B technical teams as well as 340B Solution Advisor teams.


This role is responsible for facilitating discussions related to incoming requests related to both standard and non-standard requests. This role is also responsible for supporting the ongoing collaborations between 340B Client Strategy & Optimization team and Omnicell’s Product Management team as is relates to critical operations readiness functions and related support.


The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience in the pharmaceutical industry in either retail and/or a hospital inpatient pharmacy
  • Be an extremely effective communicator both internally and externally to ensure timely incident resolution and thorough delivery of project vetting related materials
  • Be responsible for timely escalation of delayed requests
  • Be responsible for timely preparation and delivery of incoming Statement of Work (SOW) requests
  • Host weekly team meetings that streamline communication and provide visibility into implementation activity
  • Have experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects and tasks therein
  • Have experience with both Client Relationship Management (CRM) tools such as Salesforce and data analytic tools such as Power BI
  • Ensure all project artifacts and configuration documents are accounted for in required CRM environment
  • Provide general administrative support for the 340B Client Strategy & Optimization team

Requirements:

  • Associate degree required or 10+ years equivalent work experience in healthcare industry, pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of 340B, Pharmacy Operations, Supply Chain or Hospital Operations are required
  • 3+ years experience in the pharmacy and/or healthcare industries Pharmacy data processing and 340B program experience preferred.
  • Superior oral, written and interpersonal skills & superior problem-solving skills required.
  • Superior organization skills and attentive to detail
  • Ability to quickly learn new and different technologies and adopt new processes
  • Must be able to multitask and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Creativity and flexibility are a must. Omnicell Advanced Services team is a dynamicenvironment and requires a candidate that is comfortable regularly facing new challenges
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and drive results through others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with extensive experience working with Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI
  • Experience with EMR systems (EPIC, Centricity, Meditech, Cerner) preferred
  • Preferred background of 3-5 years working with pharmacy data
