The Assignment
The Program & Portfolio Management Office at Moderna is responsible for management of the development portfolio from lead nomination to licensure. Moderna is seeking a motivated and energetic Associate of Portfolio Analytics to support the strategy, development & execution of analytics & insights across the development portfolio. The successful candidate will work in close coordination with the Portfolio Analytics team, Digital and Data team, the Program Management team, and other key stakeholders across the organization. Overall this role presents an exciting opportunity to focus on developing new capabilities at Moderna and driving valuable insights across the portfolio.

Initial Contract Length : 6 months

Assignment Scope

Support strategy and vision for building out the Portfolio Analytics roadmap to support generation of actionable insights and facilitate decision making across Moderna’s portfolio of programs and clinical trials

Support establishment of Portfolio Analytics as a key capability and value driver

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization to further shape our analytics capabilities; support select prioritized projects to upskill our organization

Support select prioritized projects within Reporting and Resource Management

Generate analysis and presentations in support of day-to-day operations

Assist in resolving business challenges using systems and data

Minimum Qualifications

BS degree required, MS or MBA degree preferred.

Minimum of 1 years of experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical setting.

Experience in drug development at a mid-stage biotech or large pharma is preferred.

Knowledge of BI tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.), advanced excel or modeling skills is preferred.

Strong analytical skills, business knowledge and understanding of clinical development drivers.

Proven ability to analyze, develop and contribute to development of conceptual plans and support implementation of process improvements and change initiatives across the organization.

Strong written and oral communication skills as well as demonstrated organizational aptitude
