Before submitting any job application online, remember to keep in mind these crucial tips to avoid falling victim to fraudulent job postings. To avoid working for a company with a history of workplace harassment or discrimination, research its diversity and inclusion policies before applying for any job. A genuine employer will usually prefer to conduct an interview over the phone or in-person, rather than via email or text message. Use your common sense and trust your instincts when it comes to evaluating job postings to avoid scams and frauds. Research the company's reviews and ratings on sites like Glassdoor or Indeed to gauge its reputation. If an employer requests payment from you for any reason, it's likely a scam. Be cautious about sharing sensitive information with potential employers to protect yourself from fraud and identity theft. Avoid job postings that require you to give your personal bank account information, as they are often fraudulent. Before proceeding, make certain you're on the real website to prevent scams. Confirm that the job posting is genuine and the company is hiring by contacting them and asking for details.
