Don't provide personal information such as your social security number or bank details until you have verified that the employer is legitimate. To stay secure, confirm that you're on the verified website. It's a red flag if a job posting requires you to use your personal bank account for transactions. Always be mindful of the information you share online and avoid providing sensitive details to potential employers unless you have verified their legitimacy. To make sure that the job posting is legitimate and that they are hiring for the position, it is advisable to contact the company directly. If a job posting suggests that the interview will only be conducted via text or email, proceed with caution. Be wary of job postings that ask for personal information such as your social security number or bank account information, as this could be an indication of identity theft or fraud.
