Job Responsibilities

When applying for jobs online, it's important to be wary of fraudulent job postings, and to keep these essential factors in mind. Don't provide personal information such as your social security number or bank details until you have verified that the employer is legitimate. Researching the company before applying for any job is necessary to ensure that it's a place where you can be happy and fulfilled in your career. Beware of job postings that ask you to use your personal bank account for payroll or any other reason. Job postings that require you to pay for a 'starter kit' or other materials are often scams. You should always be skeptical of job interviews that take place solely over text or email. Communicate with the company to ensure that the job posting is authentic and that they are hiring for the position. Don't be fooled by job postings that ask for payment or fees upfront, as this could be a sign of a fraudulent job posting. If something about a job posting seems off or suspicious, don't be afraid to ask questions or seek clarification.
