H2-B Program Compliance and Document Specialist

We are a small team and excited to be expanding alongside new clients and into new markets. Although we are fully remote with team members based in the UK and USA, we are a close-knit group, all with the same goals and objectives; to provide life changing professional experiences to our candidates and enhance our clients’ team and grow their business. The role is an important one within our ‘Yummy Family’. The role requires the individual to take on responsibility for the end-to-end recruitment, visa filing process, and compliance for the H-2B Program for the clients and tasks assigned to them. This role does have growth potential as we are a fast-growing brand!

The ideal candidate has experience working with the H-2B Visa Work Program and either has first-hand experience or demonstrates clear understanding of the needs of our Clients. This person would ideally be familiar with the documentation and stages of the process with employers, candidates, US Embassies, and US Governing agencies (USDOL and USCIS).

We will consider individuals who have not worked with the H-2B Program previously, but who can demonstrate themselves to be a self-starter, with experience communicating effectively at all levels and have very strong, proven detail-oriented administrative skills.

  • The role is Full-Time, remote (home- based office)
  • Will include availability for US domestic and international travel as required
  • Annual wage: competitive, exempt salary based on experience and skills
  • Top Level Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance (30% premium contribution) eligibility after 2 months of employment.
  • Working week Mon – Fri. (With exception for travel dates) Working hours have some flexibility and with some alignment with the UK based Team.
  • 4 weeks of US Holiday and Vacationpay starting with employment date.

The core role includes, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for H-2B Program visa stages for our clients, visa documenting, proofing, and drafting all with accuracy and timeliness
  • Weekly team meetings, close communication with our legal team
  • Recruitment, Selection, Documenting, and Program communications to international candidates
  • Maintain multiple email accounts and respond quickly and accurately
  • Support with staff arrivals, departures, and program guidance on notifications and updates and support
  • Support in audits and governmental documentation
  • Maintain in-house recruitment software to ensure candidate records are up to date
  • Maintain in-house data files and daily storage updating
  • Weekly reporting of visa status and program details
  • Compliance focus and always striving for consistency and efficiency.

  • 3rd party vendor communications
  • Perform all duties with timelines and governmental deadlines in mind
  • Stay up to date on changing program regulations, updates and notifications.

  • Partner with team and clients for coordination of all international recruitment activities from application through arrival and until seasonal program end.
  • Are comfortable and able to process compliance documentation to a high level of detail and timing
  • Possess a proactive approach and implement efficiencies to improve upon current processes where relevant
  • Have a flexible and adaptable mindset. We are a small team and we help each other out at short notice!
  • Happy to work independently / remotely with some travel.
  • Pro-active attitude and enthusiasm to our candidates, clients and business.

  • Able to have fun, complete mundane tasks as well as accept any surprises with ease
  • Can communicate with professionalism and a hospitality-focused approach
  • Can handle many tasks simultaneously and maintain priorities.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish is a benefit to our recruitment efforts.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000.00 per year
